A group of Agricultural and Fishery Council (AFC) from Davao Occidental and Davao del Sur discusses clear-cut problem identification and proper prioritization of issues that affect the agricultural and fishery sector in Davao Region during the Competency Advancement on Policymaking and Engagement for AFC (AFC-CAPE) in Davao City.
Forty-one AFC members from Davao City, Davao Oriental, Davao Occidental, Davao del Sur, Davao del Norte and Compostela Valley participated the AFC-CAPE on September 10 to 14, 2018.
The training was led by the òòò½ÊÓƵ, in partnership with the University of the Philippines’ Center for Leadership, Citizenship, and Democracy to enhance the capacities of the Council’s officers and coordinators particularly on policy-related issues, procedural concerns and advocacy to spread stakeholder engagement in consultative and feedback mechanism for sound policy.
